basically i gotta replace the passenger side (drivers side to you guys) steering knuckle. the ball joints seem good, both upper and lower. and the track rod end is also good but a lil rusty. any tips on removing them so i can take the old steering knuckle off would be welcome.

i take it a lot of wd40 will be a good start obviously but i mean more along the lines of what type of bal joint seperater ios best if im to save the actual joints. should i use a breaker bar on the nuts or a ratchet or just a ring spanner?

cheers fellas

Loosen the bolts on the tie rod and ball joints, and a solid smack to the knuckle should release the tie rod, if not a few more.
The same goes for the control arms. A few solid hits downward on the lower arm should free it, and the upper, i'd be more careful with. it's aluminum, and expensive to replace, so hit on a piece of wood, or get a ball joint separator to do the job.
