plug the one on the other side? the FPD? no no, you don't do anything else but install that afpr kit over the stock fpr.

There is an SS FPD line you can buy to remove the stock FPD, as well as bypass/port the J-tube but that isn't absolutely required. If you were interested in doing that, here is a pic of the upper and lower SS FPD line:

Do some searching there is tons of info on this, good luck

No no no no no no no no.

Stop right there.

The AFPR has 5 ports. Two larger ones on either side, a small one on the bottom, a smaller one on the opposite side, and a nipple for the vacuum.

The two larger ones are "IN", comming from the fuel rail. (Towards the front of the car by the alt)

The small one on the bottom is "OUT" or return to the fuel tank

The smaller port (plugged) on the side is for a gauge or fuel pressure sending unit for an in cab electrical gauge

The vacuum port is for an vacuum AFTER THE THROTTLE BODY.

You DO NOT RUN YOUR STOCK FPR on this setup. You may run the stock FPD (fuel pulsation dampner) that is towards the rear of the engine by the firewall.

You CAN NOT RUN THE J TUBE with this setup.

You must plug the other LARGE "IN" port on the AFPR
