OK, my car was running perfectly for the past 2 weeks since I put it on the road. Now after a day of rain my idle is ok but when I touch the gas it sputters, runs rich and wants to die out. My emanage was fine but now is throwing a code that either my emanage is wired incorrectly (which its not) or my afm is disconnected (which its not). I just wanted to verify that I need a new afm. I have the lex and was setting up my boost curve and was spiking around 17psi until I got it under contol to about 14psi. Also, whats the deal with the rain?? It was running fine until it rained.

If your talking about on the car, no. The only time the cel comes on is when it's just about to die out. The code I'm getting is from the emanage saying either the afm is disconnected or its not wired correctly. It cant be either one of those because the car ran fine for the past few weeks with no codes from the emanage?? This is really starting to confuse me.

Anyone have any other ideas what it could be??

I have a wideband 02 sensor reading 14.7 idle but then sometimes drops down really rich under 10.0. My aeromotive fpr is around 32 with the vacuum line off and plugged. But everytime I hit the gas it bogs, sputters, and then wants to die after I let off the pedal because of the richness of it. I dont know if its just my engine bay but when it rains it seems like the water just runs right under the hood through the sides. Is that normal?

Yea tell me about it. I looked at my battery tray and it looked like my dogs water bowl.

Just to update and if anyone has any symptoms like these, it was a cracked BVSV nipple. I tore everything apart from the emanage to the afm and that little sh*t was the problem.

Did you get a new bvsv or did you just bypass it and run the vacuum line to the throttlebody?
