AFM Question

Can I hook up a lexus AFM without 550's or an engine management? I have $5000 worth of parts waiting to be put on this weekend and the more i do myself the less the install will cost. Even though it is my buddys doing it for me it still makes a money difference.

Also, one of the honeycomb things is chipped a TINY TINY bit, almost not noticeable, but i heard it can mess it up...true?

you cannot use a lex afm without 550 injectors. you will run extremly lean. but you could do the combo without managment it will just run rich.

If you had an adjustable FPR, AND SAFC or equivalent, you could run lex + 440s. JBLMK3 does it, I know

you must have a way to add more fuel. what is it the lex will let in 25% more air than the ecu thinks is coming in?? something like that. with X% more air you NEED X% more fuel. so you spent 5k on random parts but nothing for fuel or management:icon_bigg ? you havent spent enough my friend.

Thats what I thought. Just wanted to make sure. Im gonna install my aluminum radiator and strut bars and stuff.
