OK, well i got a prob... with no shimming I'm getting about 7lbs of boost and it pulls hard until it hits around 7.5 then poop! it slowly dies out... i cant really tell if its the AFM since i did have a K&N filter and am afraid that maybe it gummed it up. But if i shift of left off the gas before 7-8 lbs i pulls hard.

1. should my dumb ass get an after market boost gauge with a 20inHg, to see if it is a leak

2. go to the junk and try out another AFM or find a way to clean mine, I'm guessing that electrical spray.

Fully stock ex for removed resonator and replacement K&N filter

Be very careful when you clean the afm DO NOT use any harmful cleaners like carb spray or stuff like that because that will ruin the sensor and is your check engine light on or do you have any codes?
If you have code 31 you could possibility have a bad afm sensor.

Get some carb and choke cleaner. Check your vacums. The one vacum I forgot about when I worked on my supra after I first got it about two years ago, was the one under the acordian hose. I couldn't even rev past 3.5k. Had me pissed off for awhile until I realized what I did. I say carb and choke cleaner to spray your vacum lines. Rubber gets hard and brittle. 20 year old hose may be a cause. I got the hose technique kit and went through them all.
