well right now i looking to replace my caplier and keep my stock rotors (well aware about gain on running larger rotor so no flame shit)

well i asking this cause slide pin's are gay as shit
and since one of my front capler's have broken slide pin why nto try to repalce the stock crap

caplier i have tried so far
corvett brake
91 v6 runner brakes
95 plus tacoma brakes
tunrda brakes


gonna try these
mazda rx7 brake secound and 3rd gen
any more idea's on what brakes might work ?

hey IJ what doe sit really take to put mk4 crap up front nice detailed list whoudl be nice sincei may bebale to score a set for pretty cheep

my buddy gave me an idea.
we were sitting at work haven a beer me and started talking about brake's and what i can do for my car

we he was on hsi 2nd beer then why no try the boxer porsece boxer i was liek wtf man that got to be some coin so he said got a beer i said yae i got my last one

trade yae for them

i was like hummmmmmmmmmmmmmm had to thik about it after about 2 mins of thinking i traded

it was hard but i thinki made good choice cause beer after work kicks ass

so i am going to try them out and if nto sell em and make money back or some thign

go for it nash. i just put a set of second gen rx-7 trbo breaks on my friends n/a rx-7. i thought about just holding them up to my steering knuckls to see if it was posible but i never did.
you know you can fit the 350z brembos on with an adapter plate right? and the 300zxtt calipers too. no luck on the tacoma calipres? i've eyed them on a car at work and wonderd if i could make them fit.

i'm with ya on this idea. the stock rotors are pretty big. so just a caliper upgrade would be sweet. good luck to ya.

350 z brakes are mega cash so ti way out of the qestion as in will it work the 300zx has the same montes so it just be super dooper night shade kit

my buddie is 300zx freak he told me that you choudl swap onteh 350 brakes so i cna see it working for out car wores case is you might have to flip left and right so the bleed is at the top


i gonna try the boxer ones sicne i got em for free then rx7

Ryan: The Mk4 centre hole is 62mm (Mk3=60)

I didn't use the Mk4 callipers but there is a guide on Mk3 Tech to bolt up the rears.

NFI on the fronts sorry.

I made my own adaptors for my AP 4spots.

then the monting ear's have to be shaven down so that the pad cover the hole rotor cause with the ear's hit the stock montes for the knuclke

oh

i wounder how hard it whoudl be to add mk4 nuckles or caliper on the mk3

since we don't have mk4 at work it kidna suck we used to have one but ti got parted out really quick

yae i know that they suck the wheels in alot i think it is like some thnig lke 1 to 2 inc's

but i though t i remmber you saying that it chould be done ect with the wheel in the proper spaceing

It's been a while since I've seen the picture, but I believe the Mk4 spindle on a Mk3 moves the wheel towards the rear of the car, which messes up the alignment something fierce. It's gonna drive really funny. Search here and Supraforums (if search works for you). Other people have tried this already and decided it doesn't work.

yae it mess with the caster and so forth but it make it easyer to trun the wheel but will under street like a mad man

the boxer brake's don't fit
mazada just like i knew use's 12 inc rotor

what is the rotor size on 3rd gen rx7 i think it 14 but i may be wroung cause they had 16 inc wheels so this raise my eye brow a bit

yes and what i mean by cheep as in better then what i ahve now cause really your stoping power is base on your tire's not your brake's

soem times have huge meaty brake's cna be bad cause they have tendies of lock up ect

Yeah, stock is 11.6" x 22 mm thick. The calipers are fixed though. They may be worth looking into.

well we don't have a rx7 brake at my work right now

i did some testing tonight wiht new caliper and it just may work the con are my wheel will be 1 1/2stick out more witch whould make funny off set and i have to flare my fender's

i whould have to bring out the rear as well to match the front

we will see

well i am done wiht this brakes testign nothign out there wants me to continu what i am doing there is reson why no one has done it yet cause there is nto good eghough match to make it work well

the v6 truck can works but you have to briung your wheel out 1 inc and well i just don't fell like fucking wiht my track that much
