AFC and battery light stay on with no key

i went for a drive today and car worked fine, Came home parked it, shut it off and took the key out and seen that the battery light came on dim and the afc did not shut off. Car still works the same and voltage is good on battery and on altenator when running and all cables, ground points and wiring is good. Is it getting some sort of feed back power from the altenator or something like that. Any help would be great as i searched and found nothing related.

did you just install it and noticed it happened after the install, or have you had the AFC in for a while and this problem just now started occuring?

have had the afc in for two years it worked fined all this time until today.

does anybody have any idea we can unplug the plug in the back of the altenator and the battery light goes out but the afc still says on. there has to be someone who can help
