Advice anybody?

well, first off. let me just clarify that this thread is pretty much meaningless, besides to get advice, gather ideas, and recieve tips from people who actually know what theyre doing.

so my car is a complete rust bucket, i picked up some new body parts from 1jzaddict- another forum member, got a new driver side door, fender, some trim, 3 piece wing, 89 front bumper, and a few other things.. (theyre not going on the car till im ready to paint this spring)

the setup is as follows...
1988 Supra Turbo 5speed
ct26 60-1 w/clipped turbine, lexus AFM, HKS SMF intake, 255lph fuel pump, 550cc injectors, HKS SSQV, HKS FCON, HKS 1.2mm headgasket, head milled .010 with 3-angle valve job, HKS EVC boost controller, BIC 3" DDP, HKS Dragger 85mm catback, 21x9x3fmic... thats about it for the engine.
for the suspension I've got tokico blues in front with H&R race springs, and in the rear KYB AGX's with HP Racing springs, HKS TEMS controller, my own custom made T6061 aircraft quality aluminum adjustable sway bar end-links...

and thats about it for now. but here are the plans for the spring....
first of all- getting it running... main reason it doesnt is my lack of money, when assembling the head i cracked 2 valve seals... and im too broke to buy more- after getting it running, i want to buy a set of ST sway bars, along with a set of KYB AGX's for the front...
me and a couple friends are bondo'ing the quarters and painting the car low-gloss black (yeah. with spray cans.) the tails and corners will be smoked, its getting a 10-point cage, and some harnesses... while the rest of the car will be screaming "IM A BADASS STEALTH FIGHTER" the interior needs to match right? no pillar pod for me- me and a friend are making a carbon fiber panel to replace the ash tray, it's going to be home to an HKS oil temp gauge and some kinda AFR gauge, the cig lighter is getting replaced by my HKS boost gauge, the audio head unit is getting pulled (as i already removed the speakers) and the gap is getting filled by a carbon fiber panel with HKS EVC boost controller on top and bellow it, power switches- fuel pump switch, ignition control switch, intercooler sprayer switch... maybe another switch if i find a use. lol- the cage will be unpainted (just glossed) and it'll have 4 point harnesses, the HKS TEMS controller is mounted behind the shifter, which ill be replacing with a short shifter with an extension so that the throw is about the same length but the shifter is closer to the steering wheel...

and im currently in the process of fabricating a set of F1-style pedals which hinge from the floor- similar to the ones in the RS*R supra, only in T6061 aluminum instead of carbon fiber...

annnyyyway... anybody want to offer up any ideas, advice, suggestions, criticism?
im pretty new the the supra community so im really not quite sure what im doing. lol

None of your fucking business
Put the oil temp gauge in the cig hole, its not easily visible and needs less attention then the boost gauge.

Forget the HKS TEMS controller and front suspension and save for some coilovers. You won't be disappointed :)

You need to get some coil-overs!:icon_razz Geez! what is that?::hah:: a 4x4?! LOL!

No really...Listen to the man, coil-overs are the shite!!!:boink: :biglaugh:

agreed, but i really dont think id have the time to save for them before i leave for basic training- i ship out to Parris Island in June, though I would love to have a set of the JIC FLT-A2's with some 18kg fronts and 12kg rears...

btw- thanks for the tip on the gauges, maybe it'd turn out better with the boost in the left spot of the ash-tray gauge pod, lol

Well your going to dump 5-600 on the shocks and tems contoller then leave for basic training. I'd run it how it is until you can afford the coilovers if you can. I've wasted my fair share of money on things only to upgrade to something better. You could get your money back for the tems controller but you'll lose some in the shocks. Just my two cents. :)

Sounds like a great plan but I think I speak for all of us here when I say.

ah, well it wouldnt be 5-600, i already have the TEMS controller and all i need are the front shocks, since the previous owner did a strange mismatched setup...
ill work on the pictures, ill post some in the morning... but dont anybody get excited- it needs ALOT of work, a bunch of people told me to just get rid of it... i like the car too much to get rid of it though

alright, i figured since im still awake i might as well post a couple pics tonight... darnit im having trouble with getting the pics to work- so heres some links. lol

^last but not least, the engine i wish i could have in the MKIII- the 2jz out of my friend mike's MKIV... since the pic its been finished... but during tuning on an engine dyno it made 1613hp and 1134ft/lbs to the flywheel. sickening.
