is there any way i can adjust the gas pedal? like mine isnt very responsive and im looking for it to be a little more responsive.

my supra has a really loose shifter, like i can be in any gear and there is alot of play..idk maybe its a messed up bushing, but i want it to be tighter when i get into gear..

How is the gas pedal not responsive? I believe there's a small spring up behind the pedal that returns it to its normal position. If that spring is worn out, the pedal will feel sloppy. I've also heard that later gen Celica pedal assemblies more or less bolt in, and provide a different throw/pivot giving you a more positive pedal feel. That's probably a little more extreme then replacing the spring though.

As for the shifter, like poodles said, there are two bushings in the shifter. Over time they crack, and fall apart, and the shifter gets REALLY sloppy. Do yourself a favor, and spend the $15 for a set of the marlin crawler heavy duty bushings. It WILL make a world of difference.

I just bought 12 sets of marlin crawler bushings for a whole bunch of people in the Alberta Supra Club :).

The gas pedal is adjusted at the end of the cable under the hood.

The shifter has 2 bushings that need to be replaced. You can either get them from toyota, get the upgrade green truck bushing, or the best upgrade to the Marlin Crawler bushings.

You'll need both the seat and socket from here: http://www.marlincrawler.com/htm/transmission/trans_parts.htm

just making sure, i dont get the w56 model one, because we have the w58 in the supra...i get the one that fits all other toyotas right?
