Add Coolant Light Is On.....

the "add coolant" light is on and so i added coolant... then i let it run for a couple mins and its still on whats up with this...

the sensor for that light is in the resivour. did you fill the resivour or the radiator? check both. make sure the resivour is full to the proper level, as soon as it reaches the minimum required coolant, the light should turn off immediately.

Check the float in the bottom of the resovoir, it may be gunked up and stuck.

i filled the radiator.... im supposed to fill up the resivior too???
