When I drive I dont really feel crap when it goes on. I just like to hear the sound though. Maybe it is my clutch that is holding me back.
Well i do feel the pull a bit.

Given that the ACIS is vacuum actuated I'm sure you could either rebuild the VSV that controls the ACIS valving with softer springs OR put a small vacuum booster on the line to it.
If you can feel it kick in, then it does not work.
Low speed torque is deficient for the plenum size and RPM use. So that increases low speed power.
If yours does not work, then you will always be on the high rpm curve.

The intake is too big to give an NA 7m enough torque at the low end. So they close them off untill your over 4000rpm then you get the full intake and you go wheee and get a cool noise.
