acceleration...

My 87, turbo, auto doesnt accelerate. It gradualy reaches 50mph then dumps down to 40mph. The car also goes though gas like a supercharged mustang 5.0 it stinks like gas is leeking from somewhere but i dont see any leekage on the ground anytime!

This all started about the time i cleaned the whole intake system with "STP intake cleaner"...

Please help me i have no idea whats wrong with this thing!!!:1zhelp:

Sounds like you killed the AFM and the car is running stupid rich. Im surprised it runs at all.

Thats your problem, if you want to clean up the AFM....TAKE OUT THE SENSOR :biglaugh: You will need to replace the sensor now, look in the for sale section.

:3d_frown: costly lessons. atleast it wasn't the flux capacitor temp sensor. you really would have been in class then.
