Hello all,
I hope this is the right forum.
I have a question about my 90T automatic. First off, I did do a search to see if I could find an answer. I did find an answer, but they said it was related to timing, and I just timed it last night with a timing gun @10*. My car when accelerating seems at a very specific throttle position to have a dead spot. This is on very light throttle mind you, when I get in even just a little, it doesn't happen. It also happens when I am coasting down once in a while. I just put a new HG in last week. I say it like it was a walk in the park. Funny I wasn't this Nonchalant when I was putting that SOB of a motor back together. Too bad I love that damn car so much. Back to the point. I could have the of throttle linkage misadjusted or vacuum leak or bad TPS, or who knows. I am not getting a CEL, well it comes on when I start the car, but it goes out in about 5-10 seconds (not sure if this is a normal condition). I am basically looking for some pointers or a general consensus as to what it couild possibly be. I am sure that it could probably be a thousand things. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Scott
