Ac delete and no fan shroud..

The PO cut the belt to the ac so I have no ac. I was thinking about deleting it because its a targa top and I'm in nh so summers aren't to hot 70 - 85 usually.

What are your thoughts on ac delete..

also my car has no fan shroud are the needed?...I'm gunna get a bigger radiator eventually

And the last thing the two little fans what are the for. The top one is snapped off but the bottom on is still there. Are those need too?

Keeping ac is up to you. A belt is easily replaceable. Unless there are other problems. It's a nice thing to have.

You need the fan shroud.

Little fans are for a/c. For extra air flow through the radiator and condensor. They also turn on if the engine gets too hot

Keep the A/C if you want a good working defrost.

Shroud is definately needed.

Those little fans are auxillary fans for the A/C, but they also kick on if you get too hot. Keep em.

AC delete works if you don't care/do't want A/C. Personal preferance. Defogging can be tricky though.

As for the shroud, its best to have it, but people have run without them. Every car is different, but Toyota put it there for a reason.

Is there any type of tensioner/pulley for the ac I have the compressor that's it. I was thinking there must be some type of tensioner so remove the belt but I don't have one

Yes there is a tensioner pulley.

Also being from NH i would keep it.. it can get pretty damn hot..

And there is supposed to be a tensioner bolted to the right side of lower timing cover kinda on the same level as the water pump.. there should be two holes for it there.

Also this car will not be a DD so I will not take it out during rush hour or get suck in traffic with it most Likely.

I think I'm either gunna buy a shroud and keep ac or delete the ac and the radiator for the ac out too.. I think the junk yard supra has a good shroud on it I'm gunna check it out
