ABS question

i swapped out my auto for a 5spd. but the 5spd has abs and my car doesnt. will this be a problem?

Just don't hook up the electronics and it should work fine. I base this on the fact that my ABS and all wiring was removed from my 5spd and the car hasn't exploded yet.

Only ABS related part on the transmission is the speed sensor.

just got it how can i tell if it has abs? on my w58 thanks

If it has abs, you will see an electronic sensor plugged to the top of the tranny towards the back.

Since your not abs, take the sensor out, plug it up with a screw, and sell the sensor to make some money back.... :bigthumb:
