AAP MKIV and David Zamora's MKIII.

I would like to congradulate you and AAP for making it into this months SCC mag, AAP and a couple of other MKIVs were featured in the Mag. B/C they layed down 1000+ HP on the Dyno at TX2k5. I havent finished reading the arcticle but you guys make all the other cars in there look like POS geo metros. David Zamora, was featured in the mag with an impressive 644HP 7M MKIII, congrats.
and to all the other MKIVs and MKIIIs that were featured in the mag congrats also. I read SCC all the time and it doesnt matter if its a MKII, III, or IV in the mag im impressed, it takes a lot to make it into this mag. I applaud your accoplishments.

You mean, except the MK3. There was a total of ONE pic of an MK3, and they used the wrong pic. I know thew MK3 isnt the Supra GOD like the MKIV is, but it kinda makes me mad when they have pics from the entire event and not many pics of MK3's. In fact, what really sux, is at the end of the drag day, about 15-20 MK3's lined up and took pics, and the SCC photographer was one of the ones taking pics. Why didnt they use a pic?? It would have been cool, Ive seen the pics that others took and they came out great. I think they should have put one of those pics in the mag.

We just need more high dollar cars such as David's and we'll start getting more press.

I can't say as a mag photographer that I'd print a pic with a just mk3's unless a good majority had rims. etc (not just mk4's) and good looking paint.

I don't want to offend anyone, because I am all for having mk3's get some deserved recognition, but I'd rather wait and get the best/nicest ones in so readers see what the possibilities are.

CORRECTION the mkIII is in TWO pics in that magazine , if you look at the row of mkIV's you will see the front of the red mkIII sticking out, i spent like half an hour standing at safeway looking this magazine over for an mkIII.
but yea kudos to you guys, i like how the viper got in at like 400 some hp and the average hp for the supras was arround 700 somthing.

SCC since Colman is gone, has lost most of my intrest. Jacot is not the editor Colman was.

That being said, the high HP Supra's are interesting reads, and the Blach madness is understandable. Power is additictive for sure.

Slightly OT, but has anyone else noticed that Turbo magazine is no longer sold at newstands anyhwhere in the West, and intermountain West. ????
