just got my supra the other day. i'll post pics soon. on the drive home the clutch gave out on me. i wasnt too surprised about that. car has a f**ked up paint job that im gonna try to fix next week along with getting a new clutch in there that i ordered yesterday along with a pressure plate and the throw out and pilot bearing. and i also have to check up on the front suspension as i have some steering play... scary. luckily im smart enough to have a daily driver as i know how bad these cars are for bhg's and rod knock . they just seem to carry bad luck around em lol. feedback and suggestions are greatly appreciated thanks.

so toyota tried to charge 980 bucks to put in a new clutch while another place would charge 400. then i made a few more calls and a different place is gonna charge 300. thats a 680 dollar difference...:3d_frown: shows how much toyota is milkin you for if you want "genuine service". i'd do it myself if i could but its in an entirely different city right now lol.

Looks like you need some advise here.

To avoid BHG, torque your head studs down tighter than factory specs. Do that before you do anything else. You want to go to about 72lbs or so. Check your coolant Daily!

To avoid Rod Knock, fill your oil to 1 quart over, and do not rev past about 6000. The CT-26 sees it's full potential at 5800. Check your oil Daily!

Go to the for sale section here to find a $50 AFM all day long.

Now, explain the 8lb of boost problem please.
