How much did you get for all that metal? I'm sorry that was very insensative:icon_conf Your restoring the L-type right? Was that a donor car? I had an 85 Lame-type. Sorry but the P-type owns it. Show some pics of the resto

actually we just took it to a junkyard, no money.... :icon_conf

We got the resto all sanded and primed, I'll get some pics tonight. Nothing really to see though just primer....

too much rust to be a racecar...... like most mkII's.

L-type = No Flares
P-type = Flared
That's pretty much it. Also, every L-type I have ever seen (stock) is an Auto. :icon_bigg But there are auto p-types.

As for the mkIII wheels.......... lol..... stock Eagle Talon wheels. Came with brand new tires, for free....... and since my saws have really crappy tires on them and I'm broke, these work pretty damn well. I might have a set of 17's rounded up if I decided I want to keep the turd afterall.

*edit*
Weight reduction (rust) is bad when it's on the rear control arms......

MDC- Both trailers I know of are pretty much not gonna happen. He needs his for work, and Grandpa has the corn head sitting on his....

L-Types and P-Types also had different gearing and power (depending on year, I think it was 84 that the P-Type had more power than the L-Type, with the L-Type getting the same power for 85).

Also, the P-Type had the nice 14x7" wheels, while the L-Type had 13x5.5" or 13x6" can't remember which. Though in 85 the L-Type got nice 15x6" wheels like the P-Type's 14" ones.

There were some other differences too, like interior options, etc, mainly in different years, like leather was only offered in the L-Type for 82, and I think the digital dash started out as only being available for the L-Type as well.

Stuff like that. I prefer the P-Type myself though. The 85-86 P-Type. :)

pretty much what he said........ I dont have the mental capacity to remember all of that crapp..... nor do I plan to ever contain it. Sounds worse than trying to remember the routine projections for a shoulder X-ray along with the technique used, breathing technique, things like that....... :icon_conf
Yee haw for X-ray, right?
