For the swap I need, and please correct me if im wrong.

1jzgte (8 bolt flywheel)

1jzgte/R154 (Bell Housing)

DriftMotion (Motor Mounts)

The main question I have is I know the Aristo 2jzgte needs the new sump pump in order to drop into the MKIII.
But does the Supra 2jzgte drop right in with no sump issues? Or does it need further mods?

Sorry to sound like a newb but this is my first MKIII and I just wanna gather all the info before ordering expensive parts and have them be wrong.

You're correct..

You need the 1JZ/R154 flywheel, 1JZ/R154 bellhousing, 7M/R154 clutch disk/pressure plate, 1JZ or 2JZ motor mount brackets to fit a MKIII. If you get *factory* 1JZ motor mount brackets they MUST BE from a JZA70 (Japanese MKIII 1JZ Supra) and NOT a Soarer or Chaser and those will ONLY work for the 89+ round mount style subframe in your MKIII. Whereas the custom brackets offered by DriftMotion can be made for 86.5-89 and 89-92 just as easily.

As for the oil pan.

The Aristo 2JZ-GTE comes with a front sump oil pan/baffle/pickup/dipstick. You will need the rear sump setup that is offered only on the Supra and SC300 (2JZ-GE). So yes, if you're getting a Supra 2JZ-GTE, it should be ready to drop in as far as the oil pan is concerned. However, most importers will promise you a Supra setup only to send you an Aristo setup. Another option is to get the SC300 (2JZ-GE) oil pan (also rear sump) but the issue with that is that there's no oil return port. Actually, it's there, but it's not drilled and the bolt holes are not tapped. You'd simply need a 10mm or 12mm tap and I don't know.. a paddle bit? Those can be found at junkyards and cheaper on forums than the GTE rear sumps.

Here's the differences:

Left = Front Sump
Right = Rear Sump

Hope that helps!!
