before anyone bashes me for having this gauge let me say that i know a wideband is the only way to go. i purchased this gauge and a my boost gauge as a package deal for dirt cheap so i figured i'd use it for now. i'll be going to a wideband as soon as i upgrade the turbo.

and on with the part i need help on...i did a search for this and there wasn't enough info to help me.

I was wondering what wire do I need to splice into for the O2 sensor? The instructions say the signal wire but the O2sensor has two black and one blue wire, which one should i use?

Can i tap into another part of the wiring so i don't have to drag the wire through the firewall all the way to the sensor itself?

BTW- this is being done on a '89 with the stock 7MGTE

thanks

It was just ran through the firewall to the blue wire when the guage was in my car. But im pretty sure if you follow it back to your ecu you can tap it inside the car.
