First of all...DON'T TYPE IN ALL CAPS!

and secondly...Have you checked your codes? Running rich could be caused by many things.

For the A/C, are you sure you filled the system with the proper amount of R-134? Jumper the Dual Pressure switch connector, and see if the compressor clutch engages.

ok sorry for the caps
i do know of a code that keeps turning my check eng lite on and that's code 51 due to a bad knock sensor that needs replacing i replaced one already ,could the knock sensor cause it to run rich ? what about the other things that are wrong with it.

its probably the wiring to the knock sensors that is bad, not a knock sensor it self (theres two of them)

fix that FIRST.

for all your other problems just follow the troubleshooting in the TSRM.

Running rich could be either caused by something mechanically, or possibly just the normal 7m rich. Our motors are known to be rather rich.

As for the oil in the galley, did you torque everything down correctly? Correct pattern? Any cracks in the valve covers?

Code 52 is your knock sensor.

Code 51 is TPS related. It will not light the CEL though. Maybe you meant 52?

yeah ! thats correct sorry for the mix up,as far as the torque sequences yes i tightened everything the correct way , but still have oil leak , as far as the rich problem are you sure it is a normal rich running condition on a 7mgte engine cause i had 3/4 of a tank and drove about 160 miles and the fuel was completely gone i had to pull over to a gas station i was running on fumes, not to mention the fact that a lot of juice is coming out of the exhaust like unburned fuel or something, what else could it be ?

Maybe your afm is reading incorrectly, that could cause it to be rich, but our cars are know to run that way ne ways. I doubt they're suppost to run THAT rich though.
I'd say the speed cable is broke, time for a new one.
Check the valve cover gaskets and make sure they are in correctly and no gaps are present, if so, try rtv sealant (you did replace the old valve cover gaskets with new ones right?).
As for the AC, good luck, I took out everything AC related from my engine compartment, so I can't help you there.
Hope this helps some...

You have some research to do. Your problems are common, save for the AC issue...

Spark plug galley: Your valvecover gaskets are leaking.
Rich: You probably have a boost leak. Pressure test the IC pipes.
Knock Sensor: The wiring is deteriorated. Search "KS Rewire" Shaeff or I can provide you with a corrected harness.
Speedometer: There are two cables. One short one at the transmission, not too common to break, but mine did at one point, so I wouldn't rule it out totally. The upper, and much longer cable is more prone to breaking.
Do yourself a favor and get a new cable from Champion Toyota. You'll see them in the vendor's section.

starscream,. you were right bout the cable but is not just one piece ,it's the whole cable from dash to trans,.i checked the tranny cable yesterday afternoon and the worm gear in trans was ok no problems there, turns out the cable was completely seized up in the housing and when i tryed turning it it snapped right off in several places , now i find myself needing the whole cable assy so that my speedo can work again thanks for your help.

The intercooler is the very first thing you see whe you are in front of the car -- it looks like a tilted radiator. There are 2 ports on it where hoses are attached and one goes to the turbo and the other goes to your intake (pipe with 3000 on it). You need to follow those hoses and make sure the clamps are tight and nothing is loose.

Make sure your black accordian hose (black hose on front of the turbo) is on right and the Air Flow Meter and air filter are on tight.

There are many ports on the accordian hose -- even one underneath it. Check to see if those are on tight.

Make sure your 3000 pipe is tight on both ends.

Make sure your EGR valve is operating correctly. You can also have a leak there.

all the pipes BEFORE the turbo leaking would cause it to run LEAN not rich.

But, its still not a bad idea to cheack these areas.

Check all turbocharger related piping. Any leak is bad.

It'd be a good idea to spray soapy water around so it will pinpoint any leaks quickly.
