A couple of easy q's (maybe)

#1 Car is running very rich. Maybe o2 sensor. Local parts stores only have 1 wire replacements, mine has 3 wires. (it's an 88 turbo) Any suggestions aside from the dealer?

#2 If I can't find one, how to splice a one wire into a 3 wire system (or if it's even possible)

Contact MDCmotorsports on here. He *did* have a bunch of 3 wire OEM sensors.

I'd wait and get a three wire.

Also, about 6 months or a year ago MDC Motorsports had a bunch of them as mentioned above.

Send him a PM and see if he has any left.

I'll look to see if I have an extra, but you may also want to do a search on the Yahoo Groups Supras list, as well as on Supraforums. I remember some dialogue (a long time ago), about a less expensive, almost plug-n-play, 3-wire O2 sensor, which was available at any auto parts store (but not necessarily listed as an equivalent replacement for the 7M-GTE).

I think the one almost P&P sensor is for a 5.0 stang...Dont hold me to it though...can someone verify?

I believe the one from the mustang 5.0/ Lincoln 5.0 is a screw in style, whereas the oem is bolt on style. I happen to have a complete 5.0 SEFI with harness, sensors injectors and cpu. I belive (if I can find a weld in bung) that I will use one of those. Anybody know an auto parts place that stocks them?
