how much will it cost to refill my A/C for my 89 supra turbo. my older bro says that i probly have to get a new a/c becuz the old a/c systems uses a type of chemical that is bad so i wont be able to refill my a/c? is that true?

You will have to start calling all the shops around you to see if they can fill a r12 a/c system.

You can still get it just have to look.

Price idk depends on what the shop charges.

There will be some shops that will try to retrofit R134 into an older system. While it is an option, I would try to keep the R12.

Or if you do go with a 134a refit, get a good parallel-flow condenser to get better cooling out of it.
