Got another question. Unhooked my a/c and wondering what people use to cover the fittings with, coming out of the firewall.

Its not gonna hurt anything being open there? Why did you get rid of the AC anyways, leaking line? Was that worth the huge weight savings you gained? (>40lbs)

I unhooked mine to take out the air duct under the dash on the passenger side and I just covered up the holes with duct tape. They aren't doing anything, so it doesn't really matter, you just don't want air coming in or out of your ducts through there.

The system was leaking and when I went to the 1jz. The compressor that I got didn't work, even with the 7m top on it. Plus with the big single the lines are in the way of my intercooler piping. I liked the a/c, but this is only a weekend car anyways. When its not being worked on.

i put some wire loom and zip tied mine on there.

or you can get some rubber "caps" to put over them, that way looks really nice actually, plus it keep stuff out...

and besides, who needs a/c... roll the windors down and drive in your boxers (or bra and panties for the ladies)
