Hey Guys I'm having some issue's with my 7MGTE Supra as you're aware i live in the Caribbean island of Dominica and it is hot all year round which i know some of you might appreciate:icon_bigg my Supra's Water temperature rises while the A/c is on and idling/cruising round town but with the a/c off everything normal temps are rock solid under cruising and spirited/hard driving which tells me that this couldn't be an engine problem. I've installed an additional electric fan on the a/c condenser to see if that would help but that made no difference. My cooling system runs on the stock radiator with clutch fan and shroud. What could be the cause of this? We recently changed the radiator cap over the weekend since the one on the car was bad due to a shredded seat/seal i installed a genuine Toyota .9 bar cap. I was also told that the radiator could be dirty so I'm about to pull it out and get it cleaned and checked.:: angry :: Would you guys suggest ditching the stock radiator and going with a new Mishimoto aluminum radiator? Cause everything else on the car is upgraded except this and i just want a rock solid cooling system. If Mod list is needed let me know.

That is not an OEM radiator. I would buy another replacement like the one in the picture. I would not spend money trying to fix radiator. And get a new OEM Toyota thermostat and "O" ring. As a good starting point. I like Toyota Red coolant. Also check the fan clutch. That is what I would do. Or if budget is bigger then get a bigger radiator.
