Does the AC and Lighter work off the same fuse? Today my wife pushed in the lighter and when she did the AC got hot and the lighter did not work. Also the guy that had the car before me ran power to the turbo gauge (greedy) by taping into the lighter wires.. so that went dead too.?

I dont have a fuse diagram and am bigger then a 4 year old so I cant see the fuse box inside the car. Any idea what fuse may have blown??

You need a manual....or a 4 year old ;)

Oh ok. Check the CIG fuse. Drivers kick panel, second row of fuses from the bottom. Runs the clock and auto antenna too. Also the AC clutch relay and Theft Deterrent System.

Ok, this post is a work in progress. I've seen more than one lighter melt down the rear of the lighter socket so that may be your problem is the fuse opens again.

Ok. I have verified that this should be a fuse problem. I went out there and the clock is also dead. So I took some pics because I had to show someone this. Keep in mind that I have not done any upgrades to this car. All upgrades were completed before I bought it.

Please check out the mess I found when I removed the kick panel (that had no screws - so I just pulled it off.) I need a bag of screws...

Here are 2 pics. Please tell me this is not normal..? and can you ID the black wire it was not attached to anything?

Nah, just get a flashlight, lay the driver's seat down all the way, put your feet up on the headrest, and try to slip in between the seat and the steering wheel, make sure your arms are above your head before you get in there because you probably wont be able to get them up there afterwards.

It only looks/sounds/feels painful for the first 15 mins, then your back/legs/arms go numb. :icon_bigg This position also works when trying to convert an Auto to a 5sp and you have to mount the clutch MC/pedal assy
