well as all of you know i have rodknaock and here in michigan there is a really nice guy named pat.lol anyways i drove out to him and we got the motor pulled in about 1 hour and scoped out the bearings and it was number 3:1zhelp: so luckily he had that bearing and we replaced everything in about 10 and a half hours. now that is with the lunch break and everything. the only problem was that i had a leak in my radiator but we patched that up. anyways jus wanted to let everone know that my knock is gone and that i learned alot from pat and he is very talented and knows a whole lot.

now for my bad news!
well i put a new radiator and everything was ok but somehow my thermastat shot up and i was on my was to the mechanic and it started smoking so i pulled over and got it towed the rest of the way and i now have a blown headgasket wich was coming to me anyways but now i guess i have some more problems and i got to do a rebuild but all in all i guess right when u fix something, another thing will break.

Hey, Adam... No problem man. I had a good time teaching you and working with you. You are just lucky I had the right Toyota bearing laying around and that the crank was not messed up. Well I'm glad that I got the rod knock fixed but am sorry to hear that you blew the head gasket. You shouldn't have removed the thermostat and if you thought it was bad replaced it. Also never get a used radiator with out it being leak tested. So the new used radiator had a hole and leaked the coolant out when you were driving???Any time the supra starts to over heat SHUT it off right away, driving on it when it is over heating will lead to the BHG. Well if you need anything else let me know I'm glad to help out. Also if anyone else in the Michigan area needs help just PM me. I have the space, the tools and the Knowledge to fix almost any problems and ill do it for a reasonable price.

lol nope i love it to much but i can say i am pissed becasue it is almost nice out and i cant drive it but then again i can do alot more wich is good

No problem man. If you want we can through on a head gasket so you can drive the car and build up the other engine you got , so you are not with out a car.
