this is the engine, a 2jzge with a manual trans from the previous owner. It was badly done, the wires were all over the place. nothing was organized.

So after saving some money i got this 1jzgte with the manual trans and the inter cooler and the rest of the stuff for $2200

I knew that the fuel pump wont be any good for this engine so i replaced it with a R32 skyline GTR with a RB26DETT fuel pump, and connect it to the battery because it wont work if i connected it to the ecu. And for the cooling fan i used a 97 mustang fan, but i had to cut off some pieces so it can fit, and sense it has one fan with two levels, i had to have a switch to control it.

after finishing and taking it for a test drive i found out that the radiator was leaking so i fixed the leak, but it leaked again so i had to replace it because it didn't handle the pressure of the engine. so now the only thing to do is replace the gauges, because the old ones wont work for a turbo engine. and i wanted to expand the wiring for the ecu to put it inside the car, but from previous experience there will always be something wrong if you did that.

Your MkII looked great. Too bad the 2jzge was poorly swapped in otherwise it would have been a very good platform for you t oplay with as well.
Wish the fotos were better but looks alike a good job overall. :)

you can use the 2JZ-GE's block and run a 3.0L 1JZ commonly called the 1.5JZ..

love to see what other folks around the world are doing, keep it up!

But if i did that then i will have to use the pistons from the 2jz, which aren't designed for a turbo, meaning that they wont last, right?

Yes and no, all depends on the tune.

Reading around the 1.5 jz is the ticket. You get the best of both worlds in the jz family. The 1jz head flows way better then the 2jz head, and you get the displacement of the 2jz.

Nice supra BTW, but Im not sure about you avatar yet.
