I thought I had read in someones thread about the differences between the years in the automatic tranny's and it mainly came down to the 91-92 had the best design?
91-92 Auto's

I haven't seen TSB's or new vehicle overview for a 91 or 92 for transmissions. According to the 89 press releases, that year had an upgrade.

Well I noticed something was very different because when I pulled the tranny out of my 88 and put in a transmission out of an '89, Not only did it shift better(obviously) but the shifts points were just a little bit different...And for the better...
