Okay so I'm going to be picking up some 5 spoke wheels for the supra and will be getting rid of the sawblades (no offense to sawblade lovers!), and my question concerns the lugnuts. Will the lugnuts for the sawblades work for the 5 spokes too or will I have to purchase the lugnuts that come with the 5 spokes?

Looking at the EPC, I can't make heads or tails of it.

Diagram here: http://www.cygnusx1.net/supra/library/EPC/MKIII_NATO/291420/4103_1.html

and pricing here: http://www.cygnusx1.net/supra/library/EPC/MKIII_NATO/parts/42601C.html

for the 8808-9305 model years (89.5-92) it lists 3 sets of lugnuts, two for part number 90942-01050 and one set for 90942-01062.

Which is which? Will the lugnuts for the sawblades work for the 5 spokes or will I have to purchase the set for them?

Comparing granny smith apples with red delicious apples - I was able to run the closed-end lugnuts on my MkIV TT 17" rims with the center caps in place - similar centercap to the 91/92 5 spokes. I was also able to run the closed-end lugnuts on the alternate centercaps.

I'll have a set of the MkIV - open ended - lugnuts for sale soon that I've been running for several years. They work great with the 17" TT rims and the sawblades (and should work fine on the 16" 5 spokes. I'm selling the TT rims and have my new rims in boxes - I'm back to sitting on the sawblades for now.

That pissed me off a little when I finally got my 5 spokes painted, got the tires mounted and balanced, and then the tire place said the sawblade lugnuts are too big for the center caps. They had a box of toyota lugnuts and I got them for $1 each but they are all mismatched and uncool. :lame:
