I am running the 90mm Q45TB with the gt4067r turbo
.....DON'T sell this unit. I have great throttle response, and also have 720 cc injectors, Crower 272 cams and a forged internals, and eagle rods. Powered by a wolf v500 ECU. Test runs soon to be made

the q45 is a 80mill no bigger so if you are all baseing it off that then it is a 80mill

so the 90 ebay one is 25 % more air flow

Wasn't there a thread on here before about the different models of Q45 TB and how to tell the difference without having it on hand to measure? (I'm pretty sure it was here.... in that thread they discuss there being TWO different TB's, one 80 and one 90.) I don't personally know for sure but I remember a fairly long thread about it.

when i measured my Q45 with a digital caliper I measured 80mm id and 90mm od.

the measurements where not exactly 80 and 90 but damn close enough, as duane pointed out.

I find it hard to believe that you measured and found a 10mm difference from outside to inside diameter. This thing isn't that thick.

They came in 2 different sizes depending oupon the year I believe. I think the 91 and later were larger and te others were smaller or something like that. I remember it being year related or dfferent sizes.

To clear things up, i have a q45 tb sitting at my desk, from a 92 i believe.

(Measured with a Mitutoyo digital vernier caliper, calibrated Oct 2/07)

Behind throttle plate, ID measures 79.94 mm (the bore then opens up to 82.60 mm at the flange)

Inlet ID measures 83.98 mm
