Recently went to the original owner of my GT-S' house. He stumbled across some old papers on the car...including some photos he took of it when he had about 100
miles
on it...he's a professional photographer, and now the car has 250,000 miles on it. Priceless, really, when you can find things like this for such an old car over 20 years...

heh im just surprised toyota would actually write RWD Corolla on the Manual hah.

Why? The 4 doors were FWD for the same year. Obviously they need to distinguish between FWD and RWD models ;). The RWD and FWD models really share very little in common with each other, it's like the difference between a 1988 Camry and a 1988 Supra.

I have some stuff for my Corolla too. Original paperwork, which has the key code on it, very convenient.

I sent it in, but they didn't send me a new owners card! Blast! :p

Your car looks great in those photos, I have quite a few old ones of my car too.

I have some old pics of it in California in 1986 as well. I need to take some other pics of stuff the car came with I guess, paperwork, etc, I have some. :)

Oh well, in any case, enjoy the car! :)

He bought it on April 26th, 1986, took delivery on May 2nd.

Oh, also, I noticed that I got the "optional wheels" availible in the ripped catalog page...they arent Supras like everyone thought, they were actual optional wheels for the GT-S

Still dealer installed, not factory.

The MK2 in the pic is my dad's old one.
