89pluss motor mounts ?????

ok i have a 90 supra and buddy has my old 88 supra the mounts look almost identical i thought 89 up were completely diffrent ? could somone post a pic i ordered a front clip so it really dost matter anyway but im just wondering wtf thanks in advance.

sure the 88 isn't an 89? The 89+ years have round mounts and the pre89 have square. If their both round they have the new mounts.

This is correct. The pre 89 brackets are slightly longer and are at a different angle than the 89+. Some 88's have the newer style mounts yet some 89's have square !!!!. Basicly if they are round they are 89+ style and if they are square they are pre 89.

I / (BIC Performance) now offer a stock type fitment 89+ engine bracket set. These are for the 89+ people with round motor mounts to bolt in the 1jz as JDM JZA70 brackets are getting harder and harder to find. This is esspecially handy for those with Non Supra JZ engines for the swap.

i got the BIC mounts to mount my 1J in a pre-89 car and they are excellent quality

According to the Toyota Parts system, they were changed in 8/89, which is weird imo.

i think he meant if your engine set is MISSING the mounts he makes them for the 89+ people to bolt in like stock, so instead of sourcing out JZA70 stock mounts you can buy his mounts to do the samething. Randy correct me if im wrong

Yes you are correct, because some people get Soarer or Chaser engines with the wrong brackets, and the JZA70 brackets are hard to find, so I made some. The price is the same as the pre 89 style, $175 shipped.
