I bought this car with the impression the Headgasket went...

Well it did BUT.. 5&6 had Zero Comp aswell.

So we ripped the engine out, took the head off. this was the culprit:

now the work has been done,

Block was decked, bored 40 over, hot tanked, crank reground, new forged pistons, con-rods, felpro gasket set, new ultra bearings, titan motorsport 2.0mm headgasket, arp headbolts, and a fancy paint job.

Head work was decking, cleaning the chambers, valve grind, new valve seats.

And got the turbo rebuilt with new internals and a 60 trim.

Cant beat quality work.

Your daring for painting your valve covers white....

yeah i know, High temp white with High temp clear.

we'll see how long it lasts.. but every aspect of the rebuild was glass beaded and pressure washed. So technically all new bolts, gaskets, pipes, fittings and plastics.

Nothing is dirty going back on so we hope for a clean install.

DO NOT use the cork gasket for the oil pan!!!!
You will shoot yourself later if you do.

+1
There was NEVER a "gasket" there in the first place, it's Toyota FIPG (Form In Place Gasket) and it's basicly RTV.

Cork = LEAK
