I was doing my 89+ taillight install on my 87 MKIII yesterday. I had a problem though when it came to switching over my lock cylinder. There was no where for me to secure it down with the ine screw. Also the cylinder sits about 1/4" back, even though it is pushed as far forward as possible. I'm concerned about water leaking in there.
Has anybody else have similar problems? What did oyu do to correct it?
