89+ Tailights Conversion Help!!!

Hello,
I have an 87,with the 89 tailight conversion all my other lights work but when I brake they dont turn on. They stay in daytime running lights. Any suggestions whats going on???

So, you just converted, and the lights worked, and now they don't, immediately after the conversion?

Check your brake switch near the pedal. Also check and make sure the yellow box below the drivers side light is hooked up. And make sure you have the correct dual filament bulbs in the sockets and that the bulbs are making contact with the little posts. I just did the tail conversion on mine and the jackass that had the car i pulled them from had single filament bulbs in the brake light spot...

Haven't tried that...I get volt meter try that out..it is a 25 year old car lol..and yea that hooked up..I already tried disconnecting and plugging it back in but nothing!!

Naw everything works...turn signals, reverse, daytime running lights...just when I brake they don't trigger
