89 tail light conversion

is it possible to do an 89+ tail light conversion on my 87? would it be worth the money?

if you prefer the 89+ tail lights then yes its worth the money.
bolts up only thing is the trim under the center will be diffrent than your pre 89.

that and theres a few more studs on the 89+ center trim so you can 1: cut them off or 2: what I did, Drill some holes in the rear end...

New to Supras huh? Yes, most items will change over from one year Mk3 to another. About the only thing I'm aware of that bears any significance is the electrical related bits, i.e. the brake light failure module.

hehe..... Found mine at a junkyard for $60 .... just look around at different pick and pulls there are like 3 MKIII supras at ONE of the pick'n pulls down here

nope, brake light failure box is only for the 3rd brake light (CHMSL), so if you don't change the spoiler you're good to go. You do need the 89+ bulb holders, but that should come with the taillights themselves

And what kind of cheapass ships taillights without the bulb holders? They're pretty much glued on anyway, right?
