89+ tail issue

Can somebody please let me know the main difference between the 87-88 tails bulb holder and harness versus the 89+ ones. I have a guy who has the 3 piece set from a '90 for $100 but no holder or harness. What do you guys think? If I buy them, am I going to have to spend another 50 - 100 just to get some holders? Let me know all. Thanks in advance!!

The holders are about $40 each side from Champion Toyota. They're not interchangable.

Yep, you need the USDM harness, if you get JDM lights... thankfully, I was able to source some locally

The '87-'88 holders are different than the '89+ lights, and the JDM '89+ don't have the wire for the sidemarkers, like the '89+ USDMs
