Nice. For me some of my happiest moments were when I first got my mk3 and doing all my own personal touches the little things go a far way.

What are some of your goals for the car ? Power and play wise.

My name is Jordan welcome to SM

I plan on Lexus afm and 550 injectors. Then next winter get the motor rebuild, mhg, arp bolts, and 57 trim turbo... Car should be on the road by spring.

Also painting original dark pearl blue. With chrome or silver work equip style rims

That interior looks great, have you had any experience with the fabric dye ? looks really good black I'm wondering how long it lasts etc.
Looks like you have a fair bit of room to work on the car, that's always a plus

I bought the dye at auto zone the duplicolor. The previous owner did the trunk plastics with it and I liked it a lot. I did the rest of the interior and it doesn't chip or flake. I wouldn't use it on seats but for plastics and carpet or headliner

Since it was at the painter for the past week I did some more interior leather. I got a new center console and dash at the junk yard mine had cracks. I got the dash and center console for 60 bucks lol

I re did the door panels and sent the door panel inserts to get warped because I can't use a sowing machine.

I also warped the back instead with the same leather

I'm drooling over your interior
Looks like each door would use an entire cow lol

Eventually I want to redo my interior in black but never thought or recovering the doors... But now I am :evil2:

Keep up the good work. Can't wait to see the paint.

I did the panels my self. I got black leather with 1/4 inch padding already attached to it for 40 bucks about 2 yards . The only hard part is the corners and sides. The door inserts I had done with the same material but with no padding I didn't do them because I can do the stitching on them. That cost me 100 to get them done.

Ya remove the old vinyl and scrape the old foam off. The carpet I dyed with duplicolor stuff. The guy never use floor mats so the driver side is ruined. But all the other areas came out great . I gunna buy a good set of mats and cover the driver side spot. Or I may just buy a new black carpet. New carpet I think is like 140.00 not to bad but it can wait its not on my top priority list
