The interior and other mods have been 3 years in the making and not done, but I have 3 other supras right now (one being my wifes) so its been neglected for the last 4 months. So what you all have been waiting for some pics. Also keep in mind I have done everything myself except the exhaust (I did have to go back and reweld the joints due to bad welding), and machine work to motor myself, but I did lap the head after machining for mhg (pour cut). Here is what I started with for $100

And just when it was comming together I added more to my list of mods. I love these zinc plated rotors they dont rust at all except were the pads touch and that goes away while driving. Brake dust dosent even collect on them.

Wiring harness with some electrical tape on it. It took 2 rolls to make this.

Yea my original seats were more ducttape than leather so I had to learn to sew.

And after 3 months I had all done but the driver seat and rear upper seat on driver side, but its currently 90% done then I need to start the driver seat

These are all mine and the last pic is the one in the garage, but you can't see it in the first pic.

This one is a na-t swap from the blue car which was already a na-t gone back to an na now. Btw the 2 burgundy cars are mine one is turbo the other is na, and na is the one with all the mods, lol. Once the na is done the turbo will get a 500 hp buildup. The dark blue one is my wifes project and the blue will be up for sale as soon as I replace all the crank bearings.

I also figured I should mention that now my tab for the na is 5500 dollars including the original 100 for the car, but thats with full engine rebuild with good parts. Before anyone says anything the 89 na has a 87 front bumper, lights, rear bumper, and rear tail lights as all were damaged in 2 wrecks ( not by me) front and rear.

May put stripes but im going to post a drawing of my idea and see what people think, but I have to scan pic in at home first. Also I realized yesterday this is almost 4 years into the project. Damn time flies.

Well this was an old post but since I have been getting back to it I figured I would revive it. The sad part is I have not done much to my car, but I did get a body kit and installed it and did some other work. I have the led turn signals in it now, err kind of. The car is also getting some other pretty drastic changes including a fixed headlight conversion. The work has slowed again because I dont have any luck and the other day my air compressor in my shop went out, then while using my backup compressor the same day the backup went out. Then the next day my welder feed wheel stripped out, and my buffer disc ripped apart. So yea I am gonna need to buy some new tools and some parts for them.

As for the polishing I use 240 grit sand paper and a random orbital sander where I can and hand where the sander wont reach (this is a very labor intensive process). Then with that done I go back and wet sand with 400 grit. After that a soft polishing wheel with rogue compound, then finish it off with some mothers aluminum polish applied and worked in by hand. Now I have been a mechanic for 10 years so my hands are seasoned at long periods of heavy usage (dont take that out of context. :D) and it was still very hard on the hands after sanding for hours on end day after day. Probably 20 hours on the intake alone. The valve covers are pretty easy as you can get to most of it with a random orbital sander.

So Im sure everyone wants to see some pics of the progress so here, I know its meager for being so long but I have been working full time, working on other peoples cars, and making games for Xbox 360 (plug).

This sucks this is a gap between the door and the side skirt, I had to fill it with mesh, studs, fiberglass, then a thin coat of bondo to get a finished surface.
