Hey guys,
So I did some searching immediately after this happened to no avail of a specific answer.
I've got my motor in and all hooked up after a year and a half off the road.. pinch me.
had a longblock rebuild after I spun a rod bearing, metal headgasket, arp studs, rebuilt ct26.. everything else pretty much stock.
I went to fire the car up today, but first, primed the oiling system by pulling efi fuse, cranking, let starter cool, crank etc etc. no problems there.
When I stuck the efi fuse back in, and my friend went to start the car while I was on the timing light, I got the timing to a perfect 10*, then as the motor actually started sputtering, a horrendous screeching/squealing sound started from the passenger side(as far as I could tell). We stopped cranking the car in a hurry as I have no clue what the sound was. It sounded like a dead on belt squeal, but the only belt on the car atm is the water pump, alternator, crank belt and it is relatively new and it is also tightened within proper spec. We tried it one more time and the same problem persisted.
I took a video, squeal is right at the end.

hopefully someone will have some sort of answer. first rebuild here, everything has gone smooth up to this point so fingers are crossed.
Thanks in advance for all of the help guys, I wouldn't have gotten this far without Supramania <3
