to make a long story short i need to hook up my cps to my harness without the pigtails so far;

CPS
red
green
yellow
[(can't tell what color is the last one brown or Yellow)this one has three wires that make one if that makes sence]

HARNESS
red
yellow
green
black

I have tried to hook up red-red, yellow-yellow, green-green, black-other but it doesn't work. the sensor was good up until the wire broke off.
I have the wiring diagram from a haynes book and on demand 1(pep boys). Im no wiring gurru. I was just wondering if anyone out there just didn't mind helping me out and looking into there own harrnes with the same color wiring and shared the information. I would be forever in their debt.

im sure it would have but before all that i think i burned out the sensors in the cps and a loud gun shot with fuel came out the tail pipe before i tried it. so i'm sure it would have worked. One of my buddies found an old distributor with the same sensors inside. the distributor was crack but the sensors still worked so i went to work. little did i know then that i had to put a filler gauge to calibrate it. so it ran but it ran like crap. after all that mess i just bought a used one from one of the members in here along with the pig tails for it and WA-LA!! so its running now. but i have save that info you gave me. i already put it to use on another thread on this web page. knowledge is great when its shared to another supra owner.:biglaugh:
