I have the early production 1989 supra so I am aware of the changes that have to be made to motor mounts and ?. I am about to purchase a JDM mk3 front clip from Ebay. I have heard that wiring the 1JZGTE into a LHD MK3 is hardest part of the swap. Thats why I considered going RHD. Anyone who has had this 7MGE Auto to 1JZGTE 5Speed RHD swap done or is knowledgeable about this please enlighten me with your expertise....:1zhelp:

Well I can almost guarantee you that trying to convert your car to RHD will be much more difficult than just wiring up the 1j. Just a lot of soldering. Although I've never converted a car to RHD I imagine its not easy especially if you dont have everything you need or have to replace anything, plus shifting with your left hand seems like it would be a bitch unless you're a southpaw.

I'd just do the swap and keep it LHD. Much easier, faster, and cheaper in the long run...and cleaner and safer.
