I bought this 88 turbo mk3 and after it warms up .. I drive around town and it shuts off when I come to a stop at the light? It has a atmoshpere BOV could that be it. It starts right back up after it shuts off.

PLUS venting to atmosphere is bad anyways,there's alot of people who vent right back into the turbo inlet,and those who prefer the woosh sound.

its not adjusted correctly. probably have to tighten it up some more. venting to ATM is not bad. youre not running rich enough inbetween shifts to wash the cylinder walls. if its adjusted right you should have NO problems.
FWIW: the greddy type S that i ran for a while tended to leak and was very slow reacting. this led to driveability problems : easy to stall after boosting and snapping the TP shut as well as jerkieness inbetween shifts.
the HKS ssqv is faster and i have had NO problems at all running that.
furthermore, the problems with the greddy BOV werent enough to want to do anything about it other than making sure that it was adjusted the right way and to change my driving style slightely.
