88 Tailights swap for 89+?

I have an 88 supra and I'm not a real fan of the tailights... I'm just wondering how hard would it be to swap them out for the tailights off an 89+ supra? Is it just the tail lights and the area around the license plate?

It's really easy, you only have to drill a couple extra holes and in they go.

And what about the lock? Mine is euro-spec? anyone with euro-spec car have done this swap?

i did the swap. but was wondering how to you swap out the trim peace?

The moulding you mean?
If that's it, then you don't. Convert to 89+ mouldings.

yeah the moldings. they built completly different from what i remember. so now i got the one molding in 89 and the rest 87 looks pretty lame.
