Ok,

I searched and read up in this thread a bit, http://www.supramania.com/forums/showthread.php?t=13791&highlight=COLLECTIBLE

But I want to be sure of this --- 1988 Supra Turbo does qualify as a "Collectors Vehicle" ?

Does anyone know if it appears in the "New Complete Book of Collectible Cars 1930-1990" ?

That would make it an official collector's vehicle, and would make it a shoe-in for Ohio Collector's plates.

I need to get collectors plates for the car, we have Emissions check here in Ohio and Collectors registered vehicles are exempt, with mileage limitation. That would help out alot with my registration 'needs'.

I just bought the car and plan on storing it winters, not a daily driver. So I should qualify --- but its MUCH easier to get the Collectors designation if the vehicle appears in a Collectors book such as the above -- I don't want to waste all that money on the book, guess I could go to the Library, eh? :icon_bigg

Anyways - - I think from the thread above that its seems it would qualify as a collector's vehicle, since State Farm will offer Classic Car insurance on it. But I don't know what State Farm's requirements are for that insurance -- age based maybe?

Anyways --- Thanks if anyone knows for sure about the book or just if the car is an official "Collectible car". Seems to me it should qualify.
