Everything sounds good except that lightweight crank pulley. Definitely use the stock one instead. The issue is with the rotating assembly balance being thrown off when you use that type of pulley i believe. Best aftermarket crank pulley is the one from ATI.

Thanks for the info on the crank pulley. I guess I will just hold on to it and just use as a back up. Started some part clean up for now until I get a engine lift and stand. Prepped and painted the valve covers and cam backing plate.

:1zhelp:Polished cams.JPG90 Head Resurfaced.JPG90 Close Up Coolant passage.JPG90 Close up of block.JPG90 Stock gasket.JPGOK here we go. Got some pics of the Head and the passages have some corrosion looks like the block has been sitting for a while. But as you can see the HG looks good and no coolant was leaking any where. The machine shop advised that not use a MHG because it might not seal. So guys what do you think? If thats the case then should I will just stick with OEM HG? Im not going for big HP right now.

No real updates! Just got a sweet deal on a 1990 wing. I love the way they look. Just traded with a guy who who needed a stock radiator so he can get his MK3 on the road. Needed to do it even though mine is far from ready its always god to see another MK3 rolling.
