When i try to start the car it just clicks. Engine doesn't crank and i tried to jump it. It started the 1st time but none after. Took battery to get charged and auto zone said it was fine....

battery cables that go to the starter or the connections at the starter. clean the green off of them and get them shiny.

I found one on E-bay for 50 bucks and got a quote from a local mechanic for $95 to replace.
Is that a good price or should I just get the specs from the internet and just try it myself. I would say I am beginner when it comes to working on cars.
Contact disk on the solenoid/relay. It gets corroded and "potatoe chipped"

I've never done a starter on these, and heard its a bitch, i'm sure someones done a write up somewhere, search. Good luck.
