88 n/a - 88 turbo Dash

I thought they where interchangeable?

I put my old and well cared for 88 n/a dash into my 88 turbo.. and the tech nor the volt meter would work.:nono:

You are referring to speedos? No, turbo and N/A aren't changable so easy. There are resistors you have to change or smt for them to work. Dr. J had a writeup how to do it IIRC.

Just wanted the volt meter anyway... I guess ill just drop the volt meter into the turbo dash. I think it just reads the voltage straight off the dash itself. I do some research, Thx

Isn't the OE boost gauge in the same spot as the volt meter. It's just boost gauge on NA, voltmeter on Turbo. So you might have to change some of the wiring, depending on where the voltmeter is reading. And for tach, I thought they were different and that you had to swap them out. At least that's what I did, and my tach works. Speedo doesn't work, but that's another problem all together. I have a Turbo Tach in an NA gauge cluster and everything is working right now besides the speedo. But it's also an NA chassis, so I didn't have to mess with any of the wiring.
