i have a problem with my tranny. i just changed the tranny in the car and i dont have 2,3 or over drive just 1st and reverse with the ect hooked up. when i unhook the computer for the transmission it has 1,drive and overdrive. any suggestions on what to do or what the problem could be. i already tried a different computer.

OK, instead of telling you just RTFM, I'll help a bit.
With the computer disconnected, that's NORMAL, it's supposed to do that as it's a failsafe.
The main hint I'm gonna say is if the computer isn't getting the info it needs (in other words, if a sensor isn't hooked up) it won't work right. You can get the codes from the computer to tell you which one it is, the instructions are in the TSRM as posted above.
